There’s a lot written about certification for technical professionals.  As a software user, you should know that certification exists for you as well.  Microsoft offers a program called Microsoft Office Specialist.  The tests are interactive and meant to prove that you have an understanding of how to use the software.  Tests are available for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.  Learn more about the tests, their requirements, and the testing facilities at www.Microsoft.com or call Technical Tutoring (508 529-9087) and we’ll share our experiences with you!  

Another company that is offering certification is Brainbench (www.Brainbench.com).  I have not taken any of these tests.
